Hello! I’m M. Mohaiminul Islam, or just Niloy to friends, a big fan of all things computer science. I got my Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Computer Science & Telecommunication Engineering at Noakhali Science & Technology University, Bangladesh, and my Master’s from the Department of Computer Science at SAU, New Delhi. I’ve worked on cool projects in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Data Science, and exciting new areas like Large Language Modeling, Multimodal LLM, and Computer Vision. I use tools like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Pandas to get the job done. I’m always curious and love creating things that make a difference!
When I’m not playing with tech, I’m hooked on theology, philosophy, and history. I enjoy digging into Indian medieval history (thanks to Abraham Eraly and Richard Eaton), Bengali history (big shoutout to Niharranjan Ray), and Islamic history (loving the books by Karen Armstrong and Lesley Hazleton). In philosophy, I’m a fan of Franz Kafka and Friedrich Nietzsche—their ideas about life, power, and people really make me think. I believe mixing tech, history, and philosophy helps me understand the world better and come up with smarter ideas.
